Get accessible and personalized mental healthcare in-person or from the comfort of your home.

Why Thistle?

Like the thistle, we know that resilience can be both quiet and strong- rooted deep, weathering every season, and still figuring out a way to bloom. At Thistle Cooperative, we believe healing grows in connection: in safe spaces where compassion takes root, where stories are honored, and where growth unfolds gently, in its own time. At Thistle, you are invited to rest, breathe, and rediscover your strength. Together we cultivate resilience, nurture tenderness, and walk beside you as you find beauty.

Meet our team

  • Portrait of a woman with long wavy brown hair, wearing a sleeveless teal top, smiling against a plain gray background.

    Abby Hearne, MSW, LCSW

I work with adults who are navigating complex trauma, changing relational patterns, and learning to set boundaries with themselves and others. Together, we may work on improving communication, talk through past experiences, and do some deep re-negotiation with traumatic experiences.

  • Young woman with brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt and tan dress, sitting on a black woven chair outside next to a black metal plant stand with a potted plant and a blue and beige mug, against a white wooden house siding background.

    Emily Crow, MSW, LCSW

I work with teens and adults who want to slow down, feel understood, and explore patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. This work is grounded in warmth and self-compassion to help you move toward greater clarity and meaningful change.

  • A young man with brown hair and beard smiling while sitting at a table, wearing a black t-shirt with a white tree graphic and colorful squares, with large green leaves behind him.

    Cole Nelson, MSW, LCSW

I work with adults who are ready to explore the emotional and existential terrain of their lives. Not just to find relief from pain, but to make sense of who they are becoming.

  • A woman with blonde hair sitting outdoors, smiling and resting her head on her hand.

Wren Martineau, MSW Candidate, Clinical Intern

I work with individuals, couples, coparents (or any relational dynamic). My approach is collaborative and process-oriented, guided by curiosity and respect for your unique journey. I’m not here to hand you quick fixes, but to accompany you in exploring what lies beneath the surface with compassion and care.
